Why did you join the MRFC? I joined the Morton-Rutledge Fire Company because the fire service runs in my family and I wanted to do my part. I knew I didn’t want to fight fires but I also knew there were other ways to support the fire company like fundraising and administration.

What is your life like outside the firehouse? I have been married for 25 years and have 4 children, all of which are involved in the fire company. I have been caring for children for 18 years and love every minute of it. I love to do crafts in my spare time. 

Fun fact about you: I have 6 dogs.
