Why did you join the MRFC? I joined to serve the community and those in need.

Years of Service: 35 years in the fire service and 1 with Morton Rutledge 

Background in fire: National certifications such as FF1, FF2, Instructor 1, and Instructor 2. State Fire Suppression Instructor, multiple rescue certifications as well as Hazardous Materials, and many other certifications and training. 

What is your life like outside the firehouse? I work in a maximum security prison for my full-time job. I have two step-sons who are also part of the fire company ( Sean and Zach) and a very supportive spouse (Megan). I enjoy golfing and softball in my spare time as well as outings with friends and family to various sporting events and our vacation. I am a cigar enthusiast and enjoy a good bourbon or whiskey with my cigar.

Fun fact about you: I spoil my dog, Blaze.
