At 4am, Morton-Rutledge Fire company was dispatched to assist Springfield Fire Company with a reported tractor trailer on fire at Baltimore pike and Woodland ave. Company 44 arrived on location finding the tractor trailer fully involved. Upon arrival, Engine 13’s crew (5) was directed to put a hose line in service. Engine 13-1 was directed to layout to the hydrant and supply Engine 13 with water. Crews were on scene for 2 1/2 hours. 

At Around 1030 Company 13 was dispatched to assist Station 44 (Springfield Fire Co.) on a working bedroom fire. Engine 13 responded with a crew 4. Upon arrival Springfield Fire Company Had the fire contained to the bedroom. Engine 13 stood-by and assisted in repacking hose lines. 

Morton - Rutledge Fire company was dispatched to a total of 356 emergencies. Also Responded to 8 working fires.
